The Micro-Farm has been built in widths of 12’ and 14’. It can be made in 8’, 10’ 12’ and 14’. The eave height is 6.5’ and the length is any multiple of 6’(4’ for heavy snow areas). Standard design loads with 6’ truss spacing are 15lb GSL, 105mph wind. Frames can be designed to meet higher wind and snow loads when required by local building codes.
The columns are 1″ x 2″ x 16ga rectangular galvanized steel, the trusses are 1″ square x 18ga, and the purlins and sidewall girts are 1″ x 1.5″ galvanized hat channel.
The Micro-Farm can be installed directly into the grade with anchors or plated to a concrete foundation.
The cover material is 8mm polycarbonate sheeting on the roof, ends, and sidewalls.
